Ensuring Accurate Pay

Dear Colleagues,

As we continue working through the Johns Hopkins Medicine Innovation 2023 Strategic Plan, we are constantly driving initiatives to support it. Our goal to work like one organization is best served by having centralized programs and systems for all staff members in the health system. We also believe this process aligns with our strategic goal to aim for precision in everything we do.

Keeping these strategic goals in mind, beginning this fall the Johns Hopkins Health System will implement an enhanced time recording process for all hourly employees who clock into Kronos. The process is aimed at providing a higher level of accuracy for pay and ensuring that staff members have the full opportunity to approve their time worked each day.

Kronos Attestation is scheduled to go live in October for The Johns Hopkins Hospital and The Johns Hopkins Health System Corporation. Implementation will be phased in at the other affiliates through the end of FY20.
