Wellnet is Now Healthy at Hopkins To employees of The Johns Hopkins Hospital and Health System Corporation Dear Colleagues, Wellnet has played an important role in advancing Johns Hopkins' commitment to employee health and wellness. Through preventive care services, such as health assessments and educational and motivational programs, Wellnet has assisted employees with taking charge of their mental, physical and emotional health. After many years of growth and immeasurable success as the employee wellness program for Johns Hopkins Hospital and Health System Corporation employees, Wellnet will be rebranded as Healthy at Hopkins. This change reflects our full integration with other Johns Hopkins Medicine employee wellness program initiatives. Why the change? In a way, the health system has "outgrown" the Wellnet name by expanding its focus beyond traditional offerings, like health screenings and exercise programs, to include Johns Hopkins-wide wellness initiatives, such as the Healthy Beverage Initiative and tobacco cessation. Our goal is to combine health-related efforts, programs and initiatives into an innovative wellness brand designed to improve the health and wellness of our employees. While we remain incredibly proud of our Wellnet heritage, we know the time is right to bring these two brands together as one. We will move forward with other Johns Hopkins Medicine entities, with a single goal of improving employee health. In the coming weeks, you'll see the change from Wellnet to Healthy at Hopkins in the logo, email address, signage and materials. We want our message to be clear—if you're looking to improve your health and wellness, there is only one name you need to know: Healthy at Hopkins! Healthfully, D. Bryan Farnen Patricia A.
