School of Medicine Announces Discovery Fund Synergy and Innovation Awards

Dear Colleagues:

Pilot awards to catalyze new research collaborations are a key component of the Johns Hopkins Medicine Strategic Plan. With institutional financial support and the leadership of the Johns Hopkins Medicine Research Council, we have completed the review of the 2015 Discovery Fund applications (Synergy and Innovation). We received 187 applications from an extraordinary group of faculty reflecting the full spectrum of research at Johns Hopkins. A dedicated team of reviewers allowed each proposal to receive three reviews. We are delighted to fund 20 discovery awards this year. You can read about the recipients and their projects at
