Feb. 24, 2015: Bonnie Windsor Named Senior Vice President of Human Resources Dear Colleagues, We are pleased to announce that Bonnie Windsor has agreed to assume the position of senior vice president of human resources for Johns Hopkins Medicine and the Johns Hopkins Health System, replacing Pamela Paulk. This position is an expansion of Bonnie's current role as vice president of human resources for The Johns Hopkins Hospital and senior director of human resources for the health system. For over 30 years, Bonnie has brought an impressive record of leadership, energy and creativity to Johns Hopkins Medicine. She joined Johns Hopkins in 1977, working as a registered nurse in the pediatric intensive care unit, and steadily advanced to take on more responsibilities, including a position as associate nursing director in pediatrics. After moving out of state for several years, Bonnie was recruited back to Johns Hopkins as associate director of Intrastaff. She was promoted to director in 1990, and in 1993, she took on the additional role of director of career services in human resources. In 2004, Bonnie assumed the role of senior director of human resources and was promoted to her current position in 2013. Bonnie brings an intuitive understanding of the critical importance of our faculty and staff to not only obtain our business goals, but also to ensure the highest quality of care for our patients. She has a solid understanding of the priorities of human resources and will further the implementation of the people priority of our Strategic Plan to attract, engage, develop and retain the world's best people. Bonnie has made significant contributions to advancing the mission and vision of Johns Hopkins Medicine, including co-leading, with Pamela, the integration of all human resources corporate services. Bonnie received her master's degree in health care administration from The Johns Hopkins University and her bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of Maryland. She is also a graduate of the Johns Hopkins Medicine Leadership Program and the Greater Baltimore Committee's LEADERship Program. Bonnie will assume her new position on March 1. Please join us in wishing her continued success in this expanded role. Sincerely, Paul B. Rothman, M.D. Ronald R. Peterson |
