Jessica Bienstock a 2014 ELAM Fellow To school of medicine faculty and students Dear Colleagues, I am pleased to announce that Jessica Bienstock, M.D., M.P.H., a professor in the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics, has been selected to represent the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine at the 2014 Executive Leadership in Academic Medicine (ELAM) Program. Dr. Bienstock joined the faculty of the school of medicine in 1997 and is currently the director of resident and medical student education and the residency program director for the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics. She is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and in maternal-fetal medicine, is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and holds memberships in the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine and the Association of Professors of Gynecology and Obstetrics. Established in 1995, ELAM was specially developed for senior women faculty who demonstrate the greatest potential for assuming executive leadership positions at academic health centers. Acceptance into ELAM is highly competitive. It is a great honor that Jessica was accepted as a Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine representative for the 2014 program. Please join me in congratulating Jessica on this outstanding recognition of her work and leadership. Paul B. Rothman, M.D. Janice E. Clements, Ph.D. Barbara Fivush |
