Vic Broccolino, President and CEO of Howard County General Hospital, to retire in 2013 Dear Colleagues, After nearly 23 years of extraordinary service to the hospital and the Howard County community, President and CEO Victor A. Broccolino - fondly known as "Vic" - notified the Board of Trustees of Howard County General Hospital of his intention to retire at the end of the 2013 calendar year. In the coming year under Vic's leadership, the hospital will continue its many important initiatives, including: implementation of the Epic electronic medical record; improvement of patient safety, satisfaction and quality of care; completion of an anticipated Joint Commission survey; expansion and integration of the medical staff and clinical services; and enhancement of community outreach activities. And, as we approach his retirement date, a more formal announcement will be made to the public. Please join us in thanking Vic for his outstanding service to HCGH and Johns Hopkins Medicine. Sincerely, Ronald R. Peterson Brian Gragnolati |
