May 27, 2010 Help Make Hopkins a Better Place to Work From June 1 through June 21, the Gallup Organization will once again solicit hospital and health system employees’ opinions and thoughts as part of the 2010 Employee Engagement Survey. In this year’s survey, there are 28 questions about engagement, respect and fairness, supervisor effectiveness and accountability, and managing change. It’s a voluntary survey, but we urge you to participate so that we can continually improve our enterprise. When you receive the survey invitation from Gallup, please set aside 10 minutes to make your mark and make a difference. Rest assured that your answers are completely confidential. Gallup will provide the results to departments in a summary format, without identifying individual responses. Your supervisor can answer any questions you may have, or you may visit hopkinsmedicine.org/jhhr/engagement2010 for a list of FAQs, a help sheet and other information. Thank you for helping us make Hopkins an even better place to work. Ronald R. Peterson Pamela Paulk
