Reuland Appointed Bayview Medical Center COO and EVP

Charles B. Reuland has been named the new executive vice president and chief operating officer for Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, Bayview President Richard Bennett, M.D., has announced. The appointment was effective Aug. 1.

Reuland most recently served for two years as Bayview’s vice president for clinical operations. His experience with Johns Hopkins Medicine also includes positions as chief administrative officer for the Department of Medicine, director of managed care contracting for the Office of Managed Care, assistant administrator for the Department of Surgery, and manager of the Department of Social Work and Patient Relations.

Reuland holds a master's degree as well as a doctor of science degree in health, policy and management from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
