Dear Colleagues:

Two years ago, Johns Hopkins embarked on an ambitious project to improve
business processes and expand our ability to collect and share financial
and administrative data. Named HopkinsOne, this project is large in scope
and promises to alter business practices throughout all of Johns Hopkins.

The project has made considerable progress in a short time. In coming
months, it will be moving faster and faster. In an effort to help us all
keep up, we offer you this premiere edition of the aptly named Momentum.
This monthly newsletter will provide project updates, feature articles,
FAQs, reports on decisions made, and other project information, much of
which may directly affect you in the months to come.
