June 22, 2004 Dear Colleagues: I wish to inform you that Linda Scott has resigned as Vice President for Home Health Services, Pediatrics at Home and Pharmaquip Infusion, effective immediately. I hope you will join me in thanking Linda for her many accomplishments while working for the Johns Hopkins Home Care Group over the last four and one-half years. Linda has been instrumental in solidifying Home Health Services operations, including transitioning to the Medicare Prospective Payment System, oversight of quality and regulatory processes, and the installation of the McKesson Horizons clinical and billing system. While we assess the requirements of future leadership, Nancy Pasternak will serve as the Acting Vice President. Nancy has been with the Johns Hopkins Home Care Group in varying roles over the past 5 years and another 11 years previously with JHHS. Additionally, she has past experience as a Home Health Administrator. Please help Nancy in continuing to move our organization forward, especially with our focus on Quality and Safety. We wish Linda well in her new endeavors and assure you that you can continue to count on Johns Hopkins Home Care Group for the clinical care and service excellence that you have come to expect. Our partnership with you and the service to the Hopkins community is integral to our mission and goals. Sincerely, Daniel B. Smith |
