December 24, 2003 Dear Colleagues: For the past four years, Bill Tew has led our licensing office, creating a more business-like, efficient office with consistent policies and practices. Bill now has decided that its time for him to move on to other endeavors. At the end of this month, he will be resigning as Associate Provost and Assistant Dean of Licensing and Technology Development. We will miss his effort, devotion and sense of humor, and wish him great success, whether its on the ski slopes, completing the experimental aircraft hes been building, or heading back to the corporate world, where he had a thriving business before joining the Hopkins family. A national search will be conducted for Bills successor. In the meantime, please lend your support to Keith Baker, who will serve as interim director of the Office of Licensing and Technology Development. Sincerely,
