November 13, 2003 Dear Colleague: I am happy to announce that we have just signed an extension for The Johns Hopkins Hospital's current Collective Bargaining Agreement. The extended agreement will remain in effect through January 31, 2004. As you know, the current agreement was set to expire on December 1, 2003. This extension not only gives us more time to negotiate a new agreement, but also means that all our employees can enjoy the upcoming holiday season without the concern for interruptions in their schedules or vacations. Have a happy and safe holiday season and know that we will continue to work for a fair agreement for our workers. Pamela Paulk
