Dear Colleagues,

I am pleased to announce plans for the 21st annual Martin Luther King Commemoration. The event is scheduled for January 10, 2003, in the Turner Auditorium at noon. The program will feature award winning screen actor and human rights activist Danny Glover as the keynote speaker. Also invited to receive the Martin Luther King Ideals Award is legendary entertainer and activist Harry Belafonte.

I urge you to note this date on your schedule and also submit local nominations for the Martin Luther King Community Service Award, which will be presented during the program.
