Follow in the Footsteps of Mr. Johns Hopkins: Donate to United Way Dear Colleagues, When Mr. Johns Hopkins wrote to his trustees about his vision for a hospital, he said it should be open to all, regardless of race, sex, creed or ability to pay. This act of charity has remained steadfast over the years and to this day, as every Johns Hopkins Medicine entity has strong connections and support in our local communities. One major avenue we use to give back to our neighbors is the annual Johns Hopkins Medicine United Way campaign. From helping families avoid homelessness, to keeping students in school and on the path to graduation, United Way of Central Maryland and United Way of the National Capital Area are supporting our neighbors in need. But they can't do it without our help. Beginning today, Oct. 24, follow with us in the footsteps of Mr. Johns Hopkins by making a donation to the annual Johns Hopkins Medicine United Way campaign before Dec. 21.
