M. Ryan Mannion Named General Counsel for Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare

Dear Colleagues,

I am pleased to announce that M. Ryan Mannion, associate senior counsel for The Johns Hopkins Health System Corporation, will step down from this position on May 26 to join Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare as general counsel. Ryan will transition over the month of June, replacing Rick Cunningham, who served ably as general counsel since the start of the joint venture.

As general counsel, Ryan will be responsible for leading corporate strategic and tactical legal initiatives and delivering all internal and external legal services. He will support Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare's business transactions—including acquisitions, managed care and supply chain contracts—and negotiating critical contracts on Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare's behalf.

Ryan served The Johns Hopkins Health System Corporation from 2007 to the present in progressively responsible roles, focused on international, real estate, finance and business representation. Most recently, he represented Johns Hopkins Medicine on all commercially based international activities and all Johns Hopkins Medicine International matters. His many responsibilities included performing due diligence, leading transaction structuring, leading tax structuring, managing foreign counsel, drafting agreements, leading negotiations, overseeing litigation and briefing executive leaders at Johns Hopkins Medicine and Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare.
