Linda Lee Named Chief of Staff for Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare

Linda Lee, associate professor of gastroenterology and hepatology at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, will become the chief of staff at Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare (JHAH) effective Sept. 1. Dr. Lee will be the highest-ranking medical officer at JHAH.

Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare, a joint venture between Johns Hopkins Medicine and energy leader Saudi Aramco, delivers high-quality health care to 360,000 Saudi Aramco employees and their families. The partnership expands, diversifies and strengthens the provision of medical services in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

As chief of staff, Dr. Lee will lead clinical affairs at JHAH, overseeing and supporting medical staff; promoting high-quality, safe and cost-efficient health care services for patients; and furthering education and research efforts at JHAH. Dr. Lee will report directly to Daniele Rigamonti and will be instrumental in exploring new areas where JHAH can expand its clinical programs to continually meet the needs of patients and their families, while also further enhancing the quality and safety of JHAH's health care services.

Dr. Lee has been in practice for more than 20 years and is an internationally known expert in gastroenterology and hepatology. In addition to her appointment as an associate professor of medicine here at Johns Hopkins, she is also a seasoned medical director and has founded and led multiple medical initiatives. Dr. Lee serves as the clinical director of the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology of the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and as the director of endoscopy of The Johns Hopkins Hospital. She is also the founder and director of the Johns Hopkins Integrative Medicine & Digestive Center of The Johns Hopkins Hospital. During her tenure at JHAH, she will maintain her position on Johns Hopkins' faculty.
