Dec. 5 Town Meeting to Focus on Johns Hopkins Medicine Community Engagement Strategy Dear Colleagues, Johns Hopkins Medicine's commitment to the communities we serve is not new — it was inherent in the founding of our institutions and has continued through countless initiatives in the decades since. Our ongoing efforts to engage and strengthen our local communities will be the focus of the Town Meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 5, from 12 –1 p.m. in Hurd Hall. During the meeting, Paul B. Rothman, dean of the medical faculty and CEO of Johns Hopkins Medicine, and other leaders will share updates on our community engagement initiatives and information about specific community-focused programs, including economic development and hiring, engagement in local schools and volunteerism. We also want to hear from you! We have extended our Q&A session. To allow panelists to answer as many questions as possible and to ensure that topics of a wide range are addressed, please submit your questions in advance to townhall@jhmi.edu. There will also be opportunities for you to ask questions at the meeting. |
