Call for Nominations: The Johns Hopkins Medicine Clinical Awards for Physicians and Care Teams

Dear Colleagues,

Throughout Johns Hopkins Medicine, our collective commitment to deliver the best patient- and family-centered care is what makes our organization truly extraordinary. To honor those physicians and teams who embody the best in clinical excellence, the Office of Johns Hopkins Physicians launched an annual clinical awards program in 2015: The Johns Hopkins Medicine Clinical Awards for Physicians and Care Teams.

Now in its third year, the awards will once again be presented in six categories: Physician of the Year, Innovations in Clinical Care, the Armstrong Award for Excellence in Quality and Safety, Excellence in Service and Professionalism, Clinical Collaboration and Teamwork, and Best Consulting Physician. The awards program is open to physicians and care teams associated with The Johns Hopkins Hospital, Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, Howard County General Hospital, Sibley Memorial Hospital, Suburban Hospital, Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital and Johns Hopkins Community Physicians.

Winners will be determined this summer and will be recognized at the annual meeting of the Office of Johns Hopkins Physicians this November.

Nominations will be accepted beginning today through Friday, May 12, and may be submitted by anyone with a JHED ID. Supporting documentation, such as data or presentations, is encouraged.
