2016 Diversity Annual Report and the 2017 Multicultural Calendar

Dear Colleagues,

The Johns Hopkins Medicine Office of Diversity and Inclusion is pleased to introduce the 2016 Diversity Annual Report and the 2017 Multicultural Calendar.

The 2016 Diversity Annual Report illustrates Johns Hopkins Medicine's efforts toward creating diverse and inclusive workplaces and patient care efforts, and improving cultural, linguistic and spiritual competency throughout our institutions. An essential part of this is discovering and implementing health equity solutions and sharing the collective impact on staff members, faculty members, patients, students, research, community and economic opportunity.

In addition to the report, we also are pleased to present the 2017 Multicultural Calendar, a partnership with the Department of Spiritual Care and Chaplaincy. This calendar is a guide to the holidays and commemorative months observed by our diverse community of patients, families, faculty members, staff members and students.
