JHM Among Healthcare Leaders Meeting With President-Elect Trump Today To the Johns Hopkins Medicine Community Dear Colleagues: As we move into the holiday season and closer to a new year, this is a time for both reflection and resolve. You may soon be seeing news reports that I was one of a small group of health care leaders who were invited to meet with President-elect Trump in Palm Beach, Florida, to discuss topics related to health care and biomedical research. I am thankful and encouraged by the president-elect’s interest in meeting with leaders from several of the country’s health care and research institutions. I believe Mr. Trump’s interest reflects his recognition of the critical importance of health care and biomedical research to the country. I appreciate your continued commitment to improving health outcomes for our patients, families and communities. Sincerely, Paul B. Rothman, M.D. |
